We provide tailored services, whether it be at the employer’s premise, or by telephone/video call.
With 27 years of experience, Dr Shah heads our team to provide expert advice and recommendations for you and your employees’ health and wellbeing. Read below for a concise list of the services we are offering.

Sickness absence management
We can conduct management referral assessments, provide recommendations about fitness for work and advise on reasonable adjustments, all in the interest of supporting an employee’s return to work. In practise, this can help to facilitate shorter sickness absences and reduce the associated costs and loss of productivity.

Health-related risk assessments
We conduct health surveillance including, but not limited to, respiratory surveillance (lung function tests), HAVs assessments and audiometry, to help the employer to fulfil their statutory obligations under Health and Safety legislation. Taking into account the relevant risks according to harmfulness and likelihood of the risks materialising, we provide recommendations accordingly.

Pre-employment health screening
We provide advice on fitness for work, taking into account workplace factors that may adversely affect an individual’s health and conversely, health factors that may adversely affect an employee’s workplace efficiency or which might subject other employees to risk. We can recommend reasonable adjustments to facilitate a healthy working environment.

Driver medicals
We can assess an employee’s fitness to drive HGVs, PCVs, taxis and FLTs.

Health promotion and well-being
OHP Services strongly believes in the principle that a healthier working environment is a happier and more productive one. We endeavour to maintain or improve employees’ physical and mental health through specialist care and advice.

Health education
We can give specialist talks at the employer’s premises or via video link on various health topics including mental health.

Skin assessments
We provide skin assessments and can recommend treatments for work-related skin conditions if needed, as well as recommendations for PPE.

DSE assessments
We offer Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments, complying with current regulations for employers, and targeted at protecting employees from the risks associated with longterm usage.

Night-worker medicals
We can assess an employee’s fitness to work nights. This is in compliance with current legislation requiring the employer to offer night-worker medicals to eligible staff.

COVID-19
We can provide specialist advice, risk assessment and training on working through COVID-19.

Pension assessments
We can assess an employee’s eligibility for retirement on the grounds of ill health through checking their medical conditions against the criteria laid out in their specific pension scheme. Where appropriate we can complete ill health retirement pension forms.
